Title
Save the Forest and Help Reforest
Introduction (10 pts)
So I am going to propose a new idea for a bill to the Georgia legislators to help limit the cutting of trees in order to help the citizens have a happier living space. I am very excited to announce that I will make three types of media in order to convince the board to pass my idea into a law. In order for me to get this done, I will need my idea to be approved and turned into a bill and then it has to be approved even more in order to become a law. In order to convince them, I will make a video presentation, a political cartoon, and a song. I hope to achieve that people will learn how to support others and learn about the law making process that an idea has to go through in order to become a law.
In order to achieve my goal, I have already done my research and I am preparing to pass my idea for a new act to be passed in the Georgia Assembly. I hope to find that this bill will work and that its effects change the living spaces of people in a good way. I am very, very excited about this project because it will give me a chance to use my freedom of speech. So I hope that this project will be a big success.

Result (10 pts)
So after many trials and errors and prevailing through all of the hardships, I was able to make my accomplishments and goals a success. My video and my political cartoon went along very smoothly, but I had to do the song over 25 TIMES just to get it right (kind of). My song actually went beyond a bit of my expectation even though I start over on the lyrics a few times over and over. I actually intended my song for it to be a big hit soon because learning through music is fun and if fun music becomes popular, then it can cause big persuasion. The video also had me a little worried as I had to speed up a bit and I overdid the maximum time limit by 2 seconds, so that was an error that I must plan no to do anymore in further projects.
So what are the uses of these three multimedia projects? Well I already explained what the song was supposed to do, but the political cartoon is to help people a little to understand more about the idea I would like to have passed as a law. Also, these cartoons can reveal a bit of the seriousness of the situation. So what will my video do? Well, my video will be able to explain what my idea should be for and persuade the people to help me out for my cause. So these were my intended overall results that I don't hope, but believe will work. If my idea will not be passed or if a previous idea has been passed, I will still try to help make this world a better place in any way I can.
Reflection (10 pts)
After a huge success in doing my project, I realized that I actually learned some new things. One of these new smart things I've learned was the process an idea from a citizen had to go through in order to become a law. First, the bill is introduced to the Senate, then it is referred to a committee if it is approved, then the committee talks over it and votes, the bill is then sent to one of the houses for rewording. If the rewording of both houses are different, then a meeting is held to decide on which rewording can be decided. Then, the bill is sent to the governor where he will either sign it or not sign it. I've also learned one more thing about this unit and it was about how we can stand up and actually talk to our representatives and have the ability to suggest an idea for a law. I did learn many things, but I believed that these 2 were actually the greatest things I've ever learned.

Essential/Driving Research Question (5 pts)
- I’ve found that many buildings that aren’t really necessary to be built are still being built anyway by the government and they’re taking away way too many of these vital plants. So I want to address this tree problem by telling the Assembly to limit the cutting rate.
- I am proposing to send my idea to the legislator of my district for consideration whether it should be a law or not. By doing so, I will create 3 multimedia presentations as listed above.
